Please Keep Sophie in your Thoughts and Prayers

This note will be brief. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, we found out that Sophie’s tumor has grown back and we are currently exploring our options. We ask that everyone please continue to pray for Sophie in any way that is appropriate to you and your respective religions, and please spread the word.

  • Her full Hebrew Name: Chava Shalva Gavriella bat Shani Aliza
  • Her full English Name: Sophia Gabrielle Spangenthal

We do not plan on sending additional frequent or lengthy updates via the blog at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are always with you and Sophie as you continue this fight. It amazes us that with all the challenges she has faced Sophie can still light up the room with her smile and joy and love of life . She gets that from your tireless love and efforts. May God give you strength as you continue to love and support each other and your families. We love you all. Sandy and Gary
